Lunchtime Learning - Subaward Series: The Single Audit
October 28, 2024, 12:00-1:00 pm Pacific Time
The Region VI Education and Professional Development Committee (EPDC) is proud to announce our series on Subaward Concepts, Requirements, and Management Series, this is the third and final session in the series this year focusing on subaward management. The series is not meant to be an in-depth training, but an opportunity for colleagues to present and discuss tips, tricks and tools that have worked (or not worked). This third session in the series is titled “The Single Audit,” which is meant to provide attendees with the importance and usefulness of the single audit related to subrecipients; as well as detail/explain the history of the single audit and provide insights on the information that can be gathered for subrecipient risk assessment.
Join us on October 28, 2024, for “The Single Audit” with Robert Prentiss and Joshua Kerber
Robert Prentiss got his start in research administration at the University of Texas at Austin, where he worked in a variety of post-award financial roles. He now works on subrecipient monitoring in the Office of Sponsored Projects at Yale University. Since 2014, he has volunteered with the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP), a cooperative initiative among federal agencies and research organizations designed to reduce the administrative burden associated with research grants and contracts. He is now co-chair of the FDP’s Expanded Clearinghouse Subcommittee.
Joshua Kerber is the Post Award Manager for Finance in the Sponsored Projects Services office at the University of Oregon, where he has been since 2011.
Registration will close on Friday, October 25. The presentation link will be provided to registrants by October 27, 2024. The subaward series is free for registrants.
